The 10th anniversary of the Amgen Tour of California is a monumental event, but America’s top stage race will be extra memorable to Beverly, Massachusetts native Jesse Anthony, thanks to a very special bicycle. A custom painted “Boston Strong” Diamondback Podium Equipe, designed and painted to commemorate the victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, was Anthony’s steed in yesterday’s first stage of the tour.
