The men’s team concluded the USA Pro Challenge with once final massive summit on Lookout Mountain, followed by a descent into downtown Denver for a four-lap finishing circuit. Guillaume Boivin finished 7th in the bunch sprint, the teams second straight top-ten finish. With only four riders remaining in the race, the team lacked crucial horsepower on the lightning-fast circuits to solidify the leadout necessary to contest the win.
Tom Zirbel fought his way into a powerful breakaway in stage six of the USA Pro Challenge that stayed clear of the peloton into downtown Fort Collins, presenting its riders with the rare opportunity to fight for the stage win alone.
The women’s and men’s teams joined forces for the Breckenridge Time Trial, stage five for the men and stage one for the women of their respective USA Pro Challenges. The course stretched the limits of what could be called a “time trial” – with the same harrowing climb up Moonstone Road
